The hipocracy of Los Angeles

We have all seen the news, both on TV and on the internet, about how Los Angeles is an amnisty city welcoming all imigrants, sheltering them from the law and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.   Amnesty and Illegal Immigration – Los Angeles TimesWith 4.01 million people in Los Angeles City alone, the city welcomes those illegal immigrants from south of the border. But the city has a history of blocking citizens from their fare city.  Imagine my suprise to learn that the City of Los Angeles actually sent police to block incoming unemployed citizen transients.

Secretly, it was called ‘the bum blockade’. Los Angeles police officers situated at 16 main points of entry from Oregon, Nevada and Arizona. Nobody without a means of support were turned back because Los Angeles could not support more unemployed people. It was estimated that over 100,000 unemployed citizen transients headed to Los Angeles, for unemployment services and to try to get jobs, per year. https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1986-02-02-op-3604-story.html

Now, the year was 1936, the hieght of the depression, but it does show that in the history of the city, steps were taken to protect the city and its residents from the financial strain of more unemployed immigrants.

The Los Angeles Times reported “The Times, in answer to the charge that the blockade was an outrage, editorialized “Let’s Have More Outrages,” praising it as an answer to the waste of taxpayers’ “hard-got-tax money” and a way to keep out “imported criminals . . . radicals and troublemakers.”

The Chamber of Commerce, many judges, Los Angeles Times, the Cities Prosecuters office and other city officials all supported the actions of the Los Angeles Police because of the financial strain it would put on the city and the crimes it would prevent from the homeless.

Would you believe that the President has the Constitutional right and obligation to close the border completely? The law is clear. The President not only ‘can’ shut the border down but has the ‘obligation’ to in circumstances where there is a clear and present danger to the American citizens.

That’s right, the drug smugglers dig tunnels across the border, drive it into America, walk it across and even catapult it into America. I call that a clear and present danger to the American citizens. But people like Chuck Shumer and Nancy Palosi ‘want’ the borders open and would allow the flood of drugs into America. Add to that the amount of Islamic terrorists that come to America thru the southern borders and the problem grows. Did we learn nothing from the attack on Sept. 11, 2001?

The biggest problem is that our politicians are not doing what “We the people” want. The democrats want and need a lower class of voters that depend on the government for support. It is a ‘catch-22’ situation and one that president Trump is fighting. sovereignty=freedom from external control . Meaning that if ANY country want to be autonomous, they need to attain sovereignty, meaning no outside influence or control. As you can see, there are people and entities that want to break Americas sovereignty by flooding our country with outside influences and dependants.

It is because America is “we the people”. The only place on earth where the people are the government instituted in the beginning declared by the Constitution of the United States of America. The people are ‘citizens’ and not ‘subjects’. Think about that for a moment. In merry ol’ England, you are a subject of the crown (government) but in America, we are citizens where government is supposed to work for us.

Walls and fences work. The greatest example can be seen from space, the Great Wall of China. Started in the 7th century B.C. and built with ernest in the Ming Dynasty in 1368. Built as a defence against invaders, it is still effective today over 600+ years later. And don’t forget Vatican City. The answer is exactly what you were expecting. The Vatican walls were built to keep out pirates. (Wait that wasn’twhat you were expecting? Weird.)

So the walls are 39 feet tall. For protection no less. So, walls actually work and the Pope and all in Rome, China and the WORLD knows it, including those that oppose the American border wall. Even Los Angeles knew it back in 1936. One last example. The leech. The leech is a parasite, attaching themselves to a host with a sucker and feeding on blood. Another way of saying it is ‘an organism that lives off of the life of another organism. Sorry to use such mean words, but anyone that takes from another is a criminal. To live off anothers efforts is criminal. That is why Los Angeles stopped unemployed vagabonds from becoming a leach on the citizens of the city. The older I get, the more important it is to me to study history. Add to that I like the older programs. As a kid, I had a really nice transistor radio that could pick up the weaker radio signals, especially at night. For a time, there was a radio station that replayed the old Radio Serials like ‘The Shadow’ and ‘Fiber McGee and Molly’. These radio serials used the ‘theater of the mind’. Many of the older directors new that the individual would imagine a scarier story in their mind, besides, it was radio.

The Avenger, Fibber McGee and Molly, Flash Gordon, Sam Spade, Burns and Allen and Buck Rogers were some of the shows I listened to. While my peers were listening to ‘head banging’ music, I was watching these old time serials in my mind. Imagine, thousands of people, just finishing dinner walking over to a radio console the size of a washing machine and gathering, as a family, to listen to these radio shows. A scene similar to the one depicted in the movie ‘A Christmas Story’ being played out all across the country. Most households had a radio but may not have had a telephone and the radio was the only form of entertainment and news. Radio has and will continue to be an important part of everybodies life. You can’t watch TV while driving, at least you shouldn’t.

I remember riding with my grandpa and he always had on ‘KFWB News 98. Give us 10 minutes and we will give you the world’. He was always listening to the news. He thought music was bubblegum for the brain. Now, this man sang in the church choir and with family sing-a-longs, but most modern music was mind numbing to him. So, I would listen to the news while riding with him. The news reporters tried to get to the truth no matter who it hurt, but they were journalists. It was their job to expose the truth to us, the people, because we are the government. But something twisted and perverted happened many years ago. Journalism died and we saw the birth of presstitutes. Now, a prostitute is someone that sells their bodies for money. But a presstitute is someone who has sold their soul in hopes that their opinion matters. To the point that they will knowingly lie and perpetuate that lie for power. They are not anyone worthy of our attention, whether on radio or newsprint, they are soul-less creatures whos shell may look the part, but is so biased and full of hate that they have betrayed their trade. Look at the major journalists, like Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Chicago Tribune…all of these papers have betrayed their honorable heratage to become nothing more than propaganda machines for the democratic party. In my town, I have seen a once prosperous and thriving newspapercut back so much because nobody wants to pay $1.50 a day for lies and propaganda. I wouldn’t even use it to line my birdcage with it. Even after being caught in a lie, the journalists, er, presstitutes double down on the lie.

Now, the presstitutes are pushing a new story about Chief Justice Bret Kavinaugh. Except the information is not new and was already investigated by the FBI and found to be false. The lady in question has stated now and a year ago that she has no recollection of the incident. I am sure that if a lady is raped or sexually preyed upon, she remembers it. So even after it came out that these allogations are not new and were already investigated, we hear that the truth does no matter, only the seriousness of the allogation. That is not true jurisprudence nor journalism.

Too many examples of non-journalism, but if you are listening to, or reading any kind of news, chances are you have been lied to.

My attempt at poetry. No comments on this post please. Feelings to words, words to emotions, emotions to life. I know I am no poet laureate, but there is a poet in everyone.

I still remember Mr. Brown’s High School science class when he taught that oil and gasoline came from dinosaurs. He taught that the term “fossil fuels” came from the fact that our gas did, in fact, come from thousands of years of dead dinosaurs converted into petro-chemicals thru heat and pressure just like how coal is converted into diamonds. If you ever watched the Robin Williams movie “Mrs Doubtfire”, you may remember the scene where Robin Williams character, thought he was alone in the studio and said this :

Or the 1976 remake of King Kong staring Jeff Bridges and Charles Grodin when the sponsoring oil company scientist claims there is oil on the island, it just needs a couple thousand more years to cook before being ready. 

The thought of a limited supply of oil has been prevelant in pseudo-science and the backbone of environmentalists. I remember hearing that we would run out of oil by 2020, then 2030, but we are no where near running out of oil.

You see, what we all learned about oil is false. True scientists are changing their opinions on petro-fuels as the true cause is discovered. On ‘’https://www.plasticstoday.com/materials/sorry-folks-oil-does-not-come-dinosaurs/75573139560635, modern scientists have discovered it is really plankton and decaying marine organisms that create oil as it settles to the ocean floor and is covered by sediment. Layer upon layer the pressure builds up with heat and this biomass is converted into oil. Much the same process used in labratories to convert green algea into fuels. This process is cyclical meaning the earth makes oil continuously.

There is no settled science in “global warming” as scientists are continuously, through experimentation and a search for truth, finding just how little they know about this planet called Earth and how it works. Sorry Sinclair oil, time to retire that green dinosaur as a mascott.

OK, this post is for adults. If you are under 18 years of age, don’t read. 

OK, to the ladies in relationships out there, men are not complicated. Just because you are and you can’t figure us out does not mean that we really are complicated. Example 1) You ask your guy what he wants for dinner. A sandwich will do just fine. If you want to make it really special, add soup. If you add a salad and desert you just had a four course meal and if you add a cloth napkin, well that means I should have worn a tie. 

Example 2) You and your man go out to dinner, the man generally knows what he wants, can usually find it in short order in the menu and will be ready to order in minutes. The woman will concentrate on that menu like it is a foreign language, even if it is a restaurant that you frequent for years. The man will order what he wants… boom! Done! The woman will finally say something like ‘I want the chicken fried steak but no onions, no mushrooms and the dressing on the side and give me eggs sunnyside up, but not too runny and hash browns, no make that breakfast potatos crispy but not too crispy but a nice golden brown but not so golden that they are crunchy”. 

Example 3) The guy is happy wearing jeans a shirt and tennis shoes. Add a tie and sport coat for those formal occasions. A woman will say “Honey, you would look so cute in your brown sweater, and wear a tan button front shirt and your khaki pants with those really cute brown leather loafers and the brown dress socks” at which point the guy is thinking ‘I have a brown sweater?’ 

Example 4) The woman will ask the man what he wants for his birthday planning something expensive, when she can give him what he wants and it is usually free. Just because you, ladies, want something planned out and romantic and cost more than a few dollars does not mean we men do to. And the ‘free’ thing that you can give him I guarantee wont be returned or exchanged because it will be exactly what he wanted and in the right size as well.  And if you do all the work, you just made him feel like a king.

So ladies, just because you are complicated with no owners manual does not mean we men are. Our owners manual is usually one page in english and does not require assembly, just flip our switch. You know instinctively where our switch is and how to turn it on.
